About CHIC

Mission Statement : The Consortium for Healthy and Immunized Communities (CHIC) is a community collaborative of individuals and organizations working to mobilize Northern Ohio to improve children's health and immunization status. CHIC links providers with parents and children using registry, tracking, and outreach services; vaccine delivery; community, consumer, and provider education; and other community resources.

Vision: Northern Ohio will have the healthiest children in America.

Overall Goal: The overall goal of CHIC and its resources is to ensure that vaccination coverage levels will be 90% among 0-2 year old children in Greater Cleveland by the year 2010.
